After her breakup, Ella felt lost, as if she’d not only lost her partner but her sense of direction too. The usual suggestions—travel, hobbies, meeting new people—none seemed to fill the void she felt.


Feeling adrift, she decided to try something different and booked a session with me, Gemma Sayer—a personal coach and Reiki Master known for guiding individuals through post-breakup challenges. At our first meeting in my welcoming, light-filled space, Ella shared her story, expressing her fears and confusion about her future.

I listened carefully, then gently asked, "What do you feel you’ve lost, beyond the relationship?" This question resonated deeply with Ella, revealing how much of her identity had been intertwined with her past relationship.


Over our sessions, I helped Ella separate her individual goals from her previous partnership.
